Ravi was born in Udupi and grew-up in different cities. The multi-city experience made him a keen observer of people and culture,eventually leading to a career in advertising. He completed his Post-Graduation Programme in Media Management from International School of Business & Media, Kolkata and then moved to Mumbai.

He has 16 years of work experience; having worked in advertising agencies like Ogilvy, Leo Burnett, Contract Advertising and across key brands like Cadbury, Heinz, Disney, Colgate-Palmolive among others.
